Windsor’s Nursery has a rich history that is rooted in a deep passion for creating beauty. It all began in 1983, when Benny and Connie Windsor started as a small lawn care and landscaping business in the Magic Valley community. Driven by their passion for nature, they began growing their own hanging baskets, special containers, and poinsettias in a greenhouse behind their home. Every year, on Mother’s Day weekend, they would set up a flower stand and sell all of their beautifully grown customer favorites.

In 1998, Benny and Connie, with the help of their daughter Jamee and soon-to-be son-in-law Ryan Muchow, took a leap of faith and opened Windsor’s Retail Nursery. Their vision was to provide the community with a place to buy quality plants and receive expert advice. Unfortunately, their dreams were challenged when Benny was diagnosed with brain cancer and passed away just a year later, at the age of 49. Despite the tragedy, Jamee, Ryan, and Connie made the difficult decision to carry on Benny’s legacy and keep the business running, even though they were known as the “widow and kids who will never make it.”

Over the years, Windsor’s Nursery has grown into a full-service nursery and landscaping company, drawing commercial and residential customers from all over the Magic Valley. Despite its growth, Windsor’s still maintains a small-town, friendly atmosphere. Their passion for creating beauty, and their commitment to providing personalized service and unique solutions to meet their customers’ gardening needs gives a very special feel at Windsor’s. Their team of highly trained experts is dedicated to helping customers express their personal style through the plants they choose, and to make their gardening experience a success.
